Dissolve Dance

♡ S U R R E N D E R into your innermost essence in Dissolve ~ Eros. Monday, July 14th, 19:00-21:00 @ White Lotus Venue 🎶 Inspired by the form of contact improv, the freedom of ecstatic dance, and the energetics of Tantra; this experience invites you to delve deep into the mystical realms of shared sensuality, where the interplay between bodies blurs the lines of distinction. Starting with a guided warmup of Contact Dance, we will then release into authentic movement, alone or with a partner, merging with states of flow & total embodiment. Improvised partner dance & contact improv are welcome and encouraged but not mandatory. Surrender to your deepest presence and find new pathways of connection through movement. Surrender to the collective sensual energy that permeates the air, allowing the rhythmic pulse of the music to guide your every movement and witness the unfurling beautiful alchemy of connections. This event has been happening since 2016, and the most most well-attended free-form social dance on its island of origin; Bali, Indonesia. We are thrilled to be able to bring DISSOLVE ~ EROS to Iceland for the first time, and we hope it won’t be the last! Join us for an evening of movement, connection, and expression. Your Facilitator: Kaela Atleework Kaela is a full time professional facilitator and experience designer focused in the fields of Community Building, Authentic Relating, and Contact Improvisation. In other words, she eats, sleeps, and breathes - connection. Kaela’s current research involves the overlap between social structures and social dance. Her workshops, which she has now offered in over 17 countries, are known to be playful, highly interactive and full of unique new tools, tricks, and relational take-aways.
