Ticket Purchases, Refund Policies, and Event Participation
Purchase Terms
1. Ticket Purchase
Review Before Purchase: Please ensure you select the correct date, event, and time before purchasing. Alterations to your order after purchase are not guaranteed.
Availability & Pricing: Tickets are subject to availability and are sold at the prices listed on our website, in Icelandic Krona (ISK). Prices shown in other currencies are approximate.
Order Confirmation: A confirmation email with your ticket(s) will be sent once your payment has been processed. If you do not receive confirmation within 24 hours, please contact us.
Age Requirements: Some events may have age restrictions. In accordance with Icelandic juvenile law, individuals under 18 are prohibited from attending events where alcohol is served after 8 PM unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
2. Payment & Processing
Accepted Payment Methods: We accept major debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro) through secure online payment systems (Teya and Borgun).
Taxes & Fees: Ticket prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Any additional fees will be clearly shown at checkout.
Currency: All transactions are charged in Icelandic Krona (ISK). Prices displayed in other currencies are estimates only.
Payment Confirmation: Your ticket(s) will only be issued once full payment is received.
3. Ticket Delivery
Digital Tickets: All tickets are delivered electronically via email. Please ensure your email address is correct.
Ticket Validation: Your digital ticket or confirmation email must be presented upon entry.
Transferable Tickets: Tickets may be transferred or resold at face value (no markup). For security and verification, we reserve the right to request proof of the original purchase (e.g., confirmation email or order number) from the new ticket holder. Tickets obtained through unauthorized or fraudulent channels may be invalidated without refund.

Refund Policy
4.1. Customer Cancellations
No Refund:
- Less than 24 hours before the event.
- No-shows on event day.
- Late arrivals after the event start.
Partial Refund:
- 24–48 hours before the event: 50% refund (processing fee applies).

4.2. Cancellations by Mama Reykjavik
If an event is canceled, you will receive a full refund or be offered an alternative date.
If an event is postponed, your ticket remains valid for the new date. Refunds or exchanges may be available, and we will contact you via email with further instructions.
4.3. Refund Process
Request: Refund requests must be submitted via email to team@mama.is with your booking number and reason for cancellation.

Event Participation Terms
5.1. Event Entry & Conduct
Required: Valid ticket, early arrival (at least 15 minutes before the start), and respectful behavior towards staff and other guests.
Prohibited: Disruptive behavior, unauthorized photography or recording, bringing outside food or drinks, or arriving late after the event has started.

5.2. Health & Safety
Please inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or accessibility needs in advance.
Our team is trained to follow standard safety procedures, and emergency guidelines will be communicated by staff when necessary.
5.3. Photography & Recording
Guests are welcome to take personal photos and short videos, provided they do not disturb the event or other participants.
Publishing photos or videos publicly (e.g., on social media or online platforms) requires prior permission from the event host.
Please be mindful of other guests’ privacy and always ask before photographing or filming them.

Liability & Legal Terms
6.1. Limitation of Liability
Mama Reykjavik is not responsible for personal injury, loss, or damage to property, except where required by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as missed travel or accommodation costs.

Mama Reykjavik shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
6.2. Personal Belongings
Mama Reykjavik is not responsible for lost or stolen personal items during the event.
6.3. Assumption of Risk
Participation in our events is at your own risk. By attending, you acknowledge and accept potential hazards associated with the activities.

6.5. Force Majeure

These terms are governed by Icelandic law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Icelandic courts.
