A moment, please

You are warmly invited to a special night of connection, storytelling, and sacred music. We begin with a short documentary offering a glimpse into life in a remote village of the Amazon, the Huni Kuin region of Humaitá, home to Kana, his family, and his lineage. Through this sharing, you’ll be invited closer to the reality, beauty, and wisdom of life in the forest. Following the film, Kana will open a space for questions and conversation, sharing directly about daily life, traditions, and the deeper ways of living in harmony with nature. The evening continues with traditional chanting and joyful music, accompanied by guitars, drums and shakers. Throughout the space, there will be handcrafted art pieces from the village available for those who feel called to bring a piece of this culture and energy into their homes. The ancient chants invoke the sacred beings of the earth, the waters, and the sky — the Yuxibus — who carry profound healing and guidance for all. This gathering is open and welcoming to people of all ages and genders. Come as you are, and join us in this circle of connection, music, and spirit. - For more info on this event or the work of the Huni Kuin in Iceland, feel free to contact Ravi - ravi@this.is
