Cleaning & Closing

Thank you for helping us close the space with care. This venue holds many gatherings — please leave it as you would wish to find it: clean, calm, and ready.

Read through the guide once to understand the flow, then use the checklist to complete the reset step by step before leaving.

Floors

  • Sweep the floor in the venue space.
  • Return the broom to its place.

Broom is usually behind the entrance door of Mama side (See picture)

If it's not there, check in the White Lotus bathrooms, the "Ræstikompa" door.

Bar + Surfaces

  • Wipe the bar and any surfaces you used (countertops, tables, etc.).
  • Leave the bar clean and neat.

Dishes & Cups

  • Collect all plates, glasses, and cups and place them on the dishwashing trays.
  • Important (cacao cups): empty cacao leftovers out of the cups before placing them on trays.
  • Check for marks/residue inside cups and rinse/clean if needed. the things used should be ready to be put in the dishwasher. (rinsed and ready)

Dishwasher

  • If the dishwasher is ON: put trays through the machine.
  • If the dishwasher is OFF: leave trays next to the dishwasher (do not start the machine).
The dirty trays should go on the left side of the sink.
The trays can be found under this table.

Return Items to Their Place

  • Put everything back where you found it (decor, props, tools, moved furniture, etc.).
  • Reset the space for the next group.

Toilets (Quick Courtesy Check)

Please leave the toilets in a decent, guest-ready state.

  • Quick wipe of the sink/counter if there are water spots or visible marks
  • Make sure the toilet bowl/seat is clean and presentable
  • Flush and check everything looks ok
  • Wipe up any spills (soap/water)

Candles, Windows & Doors (Close Down)

  • Turn off all candles.
  • Close all windows.(Make sure to check also in bathrooms)
  • Lock the downstairs door and pull the handle to confirm it doesn't open. (only if mama is closed)
  • Ensure the storage door is properly closed.

Final Look

  • The venue should look clean, tidy, and organized.
  • Floors swept, bar wiped, dishes handled, items returned.

If you are the last one out, make sure all the lights and windows are closed. (White Lotus side)
